The Mill Valley Briefing is reader-supported. Paid subscribers fund the daily reporting. This page recognizes the people who went a step further: contributing at a higher level not because they get more out of it, but because they want this kind of reporting to exist in their town.
The people below signed on before the publication had a track record, before the audience was built, and before there was any guarantee this would work in a zip code of 30,000 people. They did it anyway.
Supporters contribute roughly three times the cost of a paid subscription. The extra amount goes directly toward original civic reporting in Mill Valley.
Supporters have no influence over coverage. The Briefing is editorially independent. Supporting this publication is an act of civic generosity, not a business arrangement.
