The service

• What we provide Mill Valley Briefing publishes a free weekly newsletter, a paid daily newsletter, a podcast, and occasional community events. We reserve the right to adjust the format, frequency, or content of any of these at any time.
• No guarantee of continuity We intend to publish indefinitely, but we make no guarantee that the Briefing will continue. In the event of cessation, paid subscribers will be notified and refunds handled as set out below.
• Accuracy We make every effort to ensure our reporting is accurate and fairly presented. However, we cannot guarantee that all information is complete or error-free. We correct errors as soon as reasonably practicable when they are brought to our attention.

Subscriptions

• Free tier The free weekly newsletter is available to anyone who subscribes via our website. No payment is required.
• Paid tiers Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time through your subscriber portal or by emailing us directly.
• Refunds All subscription payments are non-refundable. If you cancel, your access continues until the end of your current billing period and will not renew. If Mill Valley Briefing ceases publication, paid subscribers will receive a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of any annual subscription.
• Pricing We reserve the right to change subscription prices. If we increase the price of an existing tier, we will notify active subscribers before the new rate takes effect and give them the opportunity to cancel.

Content and copyright

• Ownership All original content published by Mill Valley Briefing — including articles, podcast episodes, and event materials — is owned by Mill Valley Briefing and protected by copyright.
• Personal use You are welcome to share links to our content and quote brief passages for personal, non-commercial purposes, provided you attribute the source.
• Prohibited use Scraping, republishing, redistributing, or reproducing our content — in whole or in part — without our written permission is prohibited.

Your conduct

• Tips and correspondence If you contact us with tips, story ideas, or feedback, you grant us permission to use that information editorially, including in published reporting. We will handle confidential sources with care and will not identify a source without their consent.
• Accuracy of information If you provide us with information — including tips or corrections — you are responsible for ensuring it is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
